Summary: Promotion of sea turtle conservation in St. Johns County through the design, production and distribution of educational materials. The educational program will produce and distribute the following materials in St. Johns County: Sea Turtle Refrigerator Magnets for distribution to beachfront properties as a reminder to reduce beachfront lighting impacts per the County lighting ordinance, Beach signage describing how beach users can help protect sea turtles, and Educational brochure describing the St. Johns County Sea Turtle Protection Program.
